One Carrot a Day: The Story

The idea of sharing bits of my life with the wider public started when I embarked on what I call, "chapter 2" of my life. This was exactly the time I decided to move into the UK and give a fresh new start to my job career in science, back in 2016.

The fact that I was about to embrace a new lifestyle, changing my routine, meeting new people and challenging myself on multiple levels at the same time, promoted, I guess, the idea of sharing my adventure with you all.

Back at the time the idea of blogging wasn't really in my mind until one day, 3 years after I moved. During a lunch break at work, one of my friends said that I should have started sharing my recipes, and in a jolly and friendly tone, also added: "you eat like a rabbit". This triggered immediately my answer: "One Carrot a Day is my way". It represents me very well! I didn't stop there, from that moment onwards, I had found the inspiration for my future adventure that today is called One Carrot a Day Yoga and Wellness Studio.

But why Carrots? They represent my philosophy of life. I see them as a special gift from Earth, but an hidden one, for the most part. We can see the green bits sprouting from the soil, which for me is an encouragement to dig deeper and discover the hidden beauty in daily life. The good stuff is there but not everyone can see it, it takes work, lots of it, and dedication to our purposes to take out the best fruits that Earth lovingly gives us everyday.
