For many people, it has strong associations with nature and immediately brings to mind the lush green of grass, trees, and forests. Perhaps because green is so heavily associated with nature, it is often described as a refreshing and tranquil color.
However, it is important to remember that all reactions to color are also shaped by cultural influences and individual experiences.
The next time to find yourself observing the color green, whether it is in a room, in a painting, or in an outdoor setting, take a moment to consider the types of emotions and moods that the color tends to evoke.
Researchers have also found that green can improve reading ability. Some students may find that laying a transparent sheet of green paper over reading material increases reading speed and comprehension (good to keep this in mind for the upcoming back-to-school-kind-of-feeling). I love reading, exercising, meditating when surrounded by such powerful shades of green. I often go to the little foot path below next to the river, in Huntingdon, to feel connected with Nature and enjoy a bit of tranquillity outside the city. centre
Where do you usually go to have a relaxing break during the week?
Photo details: this pic has been taken with our new drone (MAVIC MINI DJI). We were sitting on a bench on the riverside, barely visible, and enjoyed watching our little flying object filming such beauty from above our heads.
